Ask Anything…

Now this is the confidence we have before Him: Whenever we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears whatever we ask, we know that we have what we have asked Him for.

The Lord hates six things; in fact, seven are detestable to Him:

arrogant eyes,
a lying tongue,
hands that shed innocent blood,
a heart that plots wicked schemes,
feet eager to run to evil,
a lying witness who gives false testimony,
and one who stirs up trouble among brothers.

Proverbs 6:16-19 (HCSB)

Aren’t two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them falls to the ground without your Father’s consent. But even the hairs of your head have all been counted. So don’t be afraid therefore; you are worth more than many sparrows.

God has chosen what is insignificant and despised in the world — what is viewed as nothing — to bring to nothing what is viewed as something, so that no one can boast in His presence. But it is from Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became God-given wisdom for us — our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, in order that, as it is written: The one who boasts must boast in the Lord.

1 Corinthians 1:28-31 (HCSB)

Note from Kip…
Come and see what God has done!  This should be the anthem of every believer. Let’s talk heart to heart.

We know that within us, there is nothing. If we succeed at anything it is because God has blessed us to do so, and/or has done the heavy lifting for us.

Remember, ‘I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!’ Boast in the Lord!

If the God we serve exists, then He can rescue us from the furnace of blazing fire, and He can rescue us from the power of you, the king. But even if He does not rescue us, we want you as king to know that we will not serve your gods or worship the gold statue you set up.

Daniel 3:17-18 (HCSB)

Note from Kip…
Oh, to have this attitude consistently even when under pressure as these servants of God were facing the fiery furnace.

Here in America we don’t suffer under persecution yet. We as believers are scorned and ridiculed without restraint, but the day is coming and we can even see it on the horizon when the Church will face percussion in this land.

In California that are seeking to outlaw the free exercise of our faith. Christ directs us to tell the world yet the legislature would ban us from talking of Jesus or attempting to persuade the lost to the Cross of Calvary.

Our fiery furnace is being whipped up to a frenzy. Be prepared. God is on our side in this struggle, regardless of what the earthly consequences are, we have a heavenly reward that can not be denied to us, even if they take our lives.

I will instruct you and show you the way to go; with My eye on you, I will give counsel.

Jeremiah 29:11-13 (HCSB)

I chose you before I formed you in the womb; I set you apart before you were born. I appointed you a prophet to the nations.
