Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Psalm 51:10 (KJV)
Note from Kip…
The very word ‘Renewal’ summons up the image of beauty that only God’s hand can paint.
Being ‘Born again’, Born of the Spirit, Redeemed, Refreshed and made new! These are the phrases and words that we see through the scriptures, that assure us that every single morning, the Lord has a fresh new day for us.
Each rising sun proclaims that because of His love, no matter what happens in the next 24 hours; we are blessed with the pure unmerited favor of His Grace if we have truly given our lives to Him.
This can not be changed by sickness, or disease. It can’t be altered by tragedy and disaster. With our spirit nested in His Grace, this speck of existence in the expanse of eternity, becomes nothing more than a pause in time, while we await His rest in our real home with Him.
Every illness will find cure in that land. There will be no wars; no evil or hate. There will only be the abundant love of the one that Loved us first, so that we might learn what Love truly is.
This morning and every morning Lord; create in me a clean heart that thrives in your abundant Love. Renew a right spirit in me that is yielding to yours. Thank you for all that you bless me with. Let me always see past the rubble of this life to your Glory and abide in the joy of your salvation; poured out on me by your Holy Spirit, with each and every breath.
My dearly loved brothers, understand this: Everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger, for man’s anger does not accomplish God’s righteousness. Therefore, ridding yourselves of all moral filth and evil, humbly receive the implanted word, which is able to save you.
But be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
James 1:19-22 (HCSB)
“I am the good shepherd. I know My own sheep, and they know Me, as the Father knows Me, and I know the Father. I lay down My life for the sheep.“
John 10:14-15 (HCSB)
But we must always thank God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because from the beginning God has chosen you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and through belief in the truth.
He called you to this through our gospel, so that you might obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Thessalonians 2:13-14 (HCSB)
I will place My Spirit within you and cause you to follow My statutes and carefully observe My ordinances. Then you will live in the land that I gave your fathers; you will be My people, and I will be your God.
Ezekiel 36:27-28 (HCSB)
And I will give them one heart and put a new spirit within them; I will remove their heart of stone from their bodies and give them a heart of flesh, so they may follow My statutes, keep My ordinances, and practice them. Then they will be My people, and I will be their God.
Ezekiel 11:19-20 (HCSB)
Who can bring an accusation against God’s elect? God is the One who justifies.
Who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is the One who died, but even more, has been raised; He also is at the right hand of God and intercedes for us.
Romans 8:33-34 (HCSB)
Honor your father and your mother so that you may have a long life in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.
Exodus 20:12 (HCSB)
In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as they love their own bodies.
For a man who loves his wife actually shows love for himself. No one hates his own body but feeds and cares for it, just as Christ cares for the church. And we are members of his body.
Ephesians 5:28-30 (NLT)
