Between The Lines

Jeremiah 29:11-13 (CSB)
For I know the plans I have for you” — this is the Lord’s declaration — “plans for your well-being, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. You will call to me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart.

Declaring war against God

Sounds like a contradiction on its face doesn’t it?  If we acknowledge God as truly being God, then we in turn attribute to God all that we have come to understand that God is.  In other words; all powerful, omnipresent, all knowing, etc.  So if we even attribute a portion of the attributes we associate with God, we would be a fool to go to war against God.  The result would ultimately end in total defeat.  We would have gained nothing and lost everything in that struggle.
