Faith is being sure of what we hope for. It is being certain of what we do not see.

We have had recent discussions here on the site about our responsibility to spread the love of God through our witness. Those discussions and an incident that happened at the gym a few days ago started my consideration of ways that we provide witness to the world around us. Then this morning John 7:38 was today’s scripture reading. The verse itself sparked my interest immediately but I wanted more of the context so I read from the verse before to the verse after:

Yesterday and last night I was trouble greatly with issues related to my family. Issues where there seems to be no ‘right’ answer and at the same time seemingly few options to begin with. As I do when faced challenges and concerns enlisted the prayer support of others. Shared my burden with them. I did that here to in the ‘Prayer Request’ group as well.
